Technical FAQ's for ARTstor

Accessing ARTstor from off campus:
1. You first will need to establish yourself with ARTstor. To do this go to any computer at on campus or at an outreach center, and choose ARTstor from the “Reference Resources” list on the GHC Library web page .

2. Once on the ARTstor web site, click on the “search and browse for images” text on the right; this will lead you to a search page.

3. In the upper right is a button to “register”; click it, and follow the directions. You will need to enter an email address. This is information specific to you, not provided to you by the college.

4. Once you have done this you can access ARTstor from home; you will be prompted to login using the information you just gave.

5. You will receive a message stating that you can use ARTstor for 120days and then will need to re-login from your institution. What this means is, you will have to login to ARTstor from a campus computer every 120 days to continue to have home access.

6. This “time limit” will be reset every time you use ARTstor from a campus computer.
