The GHC Web site serves as a campus information portal, presenting
campus news and events, as well as information found in the general catalog,
class schedules, student and staff handbooks, and many other publications. In
addition, the Web site includes the following features and services:
The Information KIOSK.
The Kiosk allows students to plan their schedules, register for classes,
and pay their tuition and fees online. The “Instructor Briefcase”
feature allows faculty to manage their rosters and grades. “Employee Earnings
History” lets you view the earnings and deductions associated with your
most recent payroll check or any payroll check issued within the last two years.
Vacation and sick-leave accruals, and year-to-date earnings and deductions may
also be viewed. Just go to the quick links for Faculty and Staff and choose
“KIOSK”. You may need to obtain a PIN Number to use some of the Kiosk’s features.
Pin numbers can be obtained from Nancy DeVerse.
You don’t have to be at work to check your
email.
Pick up your e-mail from any computer that has Internet access. Select
“e-mail Inbox”
from the Quick
links for Faculty menu on the GHC homepage, or go directly to
http://exchange.ghc.edu/exchange/ Log-in
using the same username and password you use when checking your email while
on campus.
Access the Library.
The John Spellman
Library provides online access to catalogs, databases, and other research
tools. Contact Stan Horton for current login information.
You can post and read the meeting minutes
of GHC committees.
Create a login account for yourself and attach your meeting minutes
to
a message so that other GHC staff can read them from anywhere that has Internet
access. Go a step further and hold committee discussions online. Discussions
can be public or viewable by committee members only. This is a great way to
reduce time spent in meetings, and allows you to participate when it fits
your
schedule. The “Meeting
Minutes” login page can be found in the Quick links for Faculty menu on
the home page.
