Log-in using your Windows ID & Temporary Password.

Go to http://mail.live.com
If you don't see a Windows Live ID login and password text field, click "Sign in as a different user"

Your "Windows Live ID" (user name) is

the first four letter of your last name and
the last four digits of your Student Identification Number
followed by @chokermail.ghc.edu

Windows Live ID Example:
John Smith, SID 915-12-3456,
John's Windows Live ID is: smit3456@chokermail.ghc.edu

Less than four letters in your last name? Add x's -
for example, Lee becomes leex1234@chokermail.ghc.edu.

Your Temporary Password is
the initials of your first and last name, immediately followed by your entire SID.

Temporary Password Example:
John Smith, SID 915123456
John's Temporary Password is: js915123456

Complete all the activation steps...

You’ll be prompted to activate your account, including accepting the terms of service, changing your password, and logging in again after the password change. Once it’s complete, you can go to http://mail.live.com and check your Chokermail at any time.

We’re also excited to announce that you can now forward your Chokermail to another email account. This makes it easier to get your Chokermail in your regular personal email or webmail account.
