
Shon
Schreiber — Head Coach
Shon is entering his seventh season as the Head
Coach here at Grays Harbor College. Shon is currently employed
with the Hoquiam School District as a fulltime PE/Health teacher
and wrestling coach. Prior to coming to Grays Harbor, Shon
was the head coach of a legion program in the Wallace-Kellogg
Idaho area, where he lead them to two league titles and two trips
to the State Tournament. After his stint there, he moved
on to St. Martins University where he became the head assistant
and helped guide them to their only trip to the Regional Playoffs.
Coach Schreiber resides in Central Park with his wife Erin, his
daughter Lily and their dog Rawlings. |

Chuck
Jacobs — Pitching Coach
Chuck is originally from White Salmon, WA and has
been coaching for thirty years. He spent fifteen years as a high
school pitching coach and spent nine years doing TBI camp. He
has coached Little League, Babe Ruth, Pony League, Legion, high
school and two fall ball seasons at Grays Harbor College. |

Rob Schreiber — Assistant Coach
Rob enters his fourth season with the Chokers Baseball
Team full time. Rob also grew up in Wallace, Idaho and graduated
from the local high school. Rob attended Olympic College and
played baseball for one year before transferring to Eastern Washington
University for two years. He then finished out his playing career
in baseball at North Idaho College in Coeur d’ Alene. Before
becoming a full time staff member for the baseball team, Rob
was a volunteer assistant for two years.

Curtis Eccles — Assistant
Coach
Curtis is entering his first season
as an assistant coach with the Chokers. He was the head baseball
coach for Woodland High School the past three seasons being
named coach of the year during the 2004 campaign when he helped
guide the Beavers to a regional tournament berth. Curtis is
currently working for the Hoquiam School District where he
teaches high school English and is the head basketball coach.
Curtis attended Clark College and Lower Columbia College and
played baseball for one year before transferring to Eastern
Washington University.Curtis is married to Kristina and has
two boys, Tyler and Bryson. |
